Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. The actress is famous for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Growing up in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. She was noticed in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought her fame worldwide and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
